One of the first "Cuibul" Musical Association projects was the band exchange with The Youth Union of Bavaria, whom we collaborate with for more than 10 years. Exchange visits among Moldavian bands and the ones of The Youth Union of Bavaria were made once in two years. More than 10 bands participated in this project. The Embassy of Germany in Moldova actively supported the concerts of the bands from Germany.
September 2001. The "Cuibul" Musical Association in partnership with the mobile phone operator "Voxtel" Company organized the "Temporomantica" tour that supported the new "Zdob si Zdub" album "Agroromantica". The tour included 8 cities and towns: Chisinau, Ungheni, Orhei, Soroca, Rezina, Cahul, Tighina (Bender), Balti. Per total, 100 000 people visited these concerts.
2001-2002 years. The French Alliance in Moldova in common with "Cuibul" MA organized several open-air and in-door concerts in Chisinau, during the festival "Music Holiday", where bands from Moldova, Romania, Ukraine and Russia participated.
During the 2002-2005 years, being invited by the French Institute in Bucharest, "Zdob si Zdub" and Victoria O'Teea participated in the international festival "Music Holiday". These were open-air concerts held in Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj, Brasov, Pitesti and visited by 10 000 people.
February 2004. "Cuibul" MA organizes the presentation of the "450 sheep" album of "Zdob si Zdub". The concert took place in Chisinau, in "Moscova" club. The show contained ethnic elements (archaic carpets, rustic decor) and modern technologies (art projections on the stage screens and a DJ). At the entrance, every visitor was awaited with a glass of home-made wine and ewe's cheese. During the concerts, the artists were throwing wool socks and stickers to the audience, this way the interaction with the public was closer.
March 2004. "Cuibul" MA organized the presentation of the "DJ Vasile" video of "Zdob si Zdub", also on the stage of "Moscova" club.
August 2004. "Cuibul" MA in collaboration with www.dac.md, within the historical-cultural project "On Dacians' tracks", participated in a tour through Moldova, that ended with an excursion to the Dacia capital - Sarmizegetusa (Romania).
March-May 2005. "Cuibul" MA in partnership with Teleradio Moldova Company worked upon the Eurovision 2005 project. This was Moldova's first participation. "Cuibul" MA was in charge with "Zdob si Zdub" preparation for the contest and with its promotion abroad - Turkey, Lithuania, Belarus Republic, Ukraine, Russia, Romania and other countries. The project ended up with "Zdob si Zdub" being placed on 6th, this way guaranteeing Moldova's participation in the finals of Eurovision 2006 in Athens.
October 2005. "Zdob si Zdub" held a show on the "Piata Marii Adunari Nationale" (the main square in Chisinau), on the stage of The Wine Producing Factory "Cricova", as part of the National Holiday of Wine 2005. Another project connects us - some scenes for the "Everybody in the casa mare" video of "Zdob si Zdub" were filmed by "Cuibul"'s regisseur Egor levinschi (Branza) on the streets of "Cricova"'s cellars.
November 2005. "Cuibul" MA organized the "Ours in Portugal" Project - "Zdob si Zdub" supporting the Moldavian Community in Portugal - the concert in "Coliseum" hall from Lisbon. Our partner in this project was the Association for cultural and sport development of East European countries from Portugal, the media-partners were ProTV Chisinau and TRM.
